There has been much talk on the global stage around greater diversity and inclusion in all spaces. In the matter of representation, more specifically that of women representation in top management positions, has been ongoing. While the agenda is gaining traction, much work is still to be done. This proposal outlines a study around women representation in top management positions in corporate spaces. Titled, “Exploring the causes of low representation of women in key decisionmaking positions. A case study of ZCCM Investments Holdings Plc.” Its overarching goal is to investigate what factors contribute to the low levels of representation of women in key decisionmaking positions at the institution. The study is meant to contribute to the body of knowledge and to give insight into the challenges for the broader Zambian context.
